Bicycle Tool and Stand Rental
Working at the self-help rate gets you access to a bike stand, all the basic tools, and the wheel truing stands. We have a parts wash available for the rate of $36/hour. Certain specialty tools are available at the rate of $48/hour. (All rates are prorated by 5-minute increments.) And if you need help, you can get instruction from a mechanic for the rate of $36/hour. Mechanical instruction is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can work on your own for some of the time and with instruction when you need it... we're flexible! Please note that stand rental and instrucion time ends a half-hour before closing each day. Please check shop hours schedule for daily hours of operation. |
We call it self-help.
If you know how to fix something, but you just need to
borrow the tools and the space, come on in and work on
your own for the rate of $9/hour. This rate is prorated
by 5-minute increments so you only pay for the time you
use. Plus, you get to hang around in a fun environment
with lots of other bike geeks at work and listen to our
cool musical selections! You don't need an appointment,
it's all first-come, first-served, but you can
