Wheelbuilding
Instructor: Andy
Participants will be guided through selecting wheel components, calculating spoke lengths, lacing, truing, and tensioning a complete bicycle wheel. We’ll have two sessions – one evening weekday class where we’ll cover selecting and ordering components, then once parts arrive we’ll complete the wheel build in one Sunday session.
Dates:
- Wednesday May 6th, 6:30-8:30
- Sunday May 31st, 10 – 5pm. We will take an hour lunch break from 1-2pm
Tuition does not include wheel components. At minimum, please budget at least $80 for a rim and spokes. If you’re not sure what spacing your frame needs, please bring the bike so that we can measure it at the first class.
