SUMMARY:Basic Mechanics Class: Fixing Flats
DESCRIPTION:This course in basic bicycle mechanics is an introductory course intended for those with little or no bicycle mechanic experience. The class is divided into lecture and hands-on learning where the student works on their own bicycle. \nInstructor: Andy \nTopics include: \n\nTire sizing systems and how to determine which parts your bike uses\nLearning about the different types of flat causes\nParticipants will be guided through removing their own rear tube\, inspecting components\, and re-installing the wheel\n\nA few things to know about our classes\n\nWear clothes that you don’t mind getting grease on.\nWear closed-toe shoes.\nBring your own bike to work on.\nYou must be 18 years of age or older to take our classes. \nDue to insurance limitations\, we can’t have e-bikes in the building. (This means no ebikes in class)\nIf you need to cancel your enrollment you must do so at least 1 week before the class starts for a refund. \n10% off parts and accessories for any purchases made during this class session\n\n*If a class does not have sufficient participants to run\, it may be rescheduled. If this occurs\, registered participants will be offered a refund or will have the chance to transfer their registration. \n*Confirmation emails are not automatically sent\, if you have any questions please call or email! A reminder email will be sent the day of the class.
