SUMMARY:Wheelbuilding
DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Andy \nParticipants will be guided through selecting wheel components\, calculating spoke lengths\, lacing\, truing\, and tensioning a complete bicycle wheel. In past series\, we split this course into four separate days which often resulted in scheduling conflicts. We will take an hour lunch break from 1-2pm\n\nTuition does not include wheel components. At minimum\, please budget at least $70 for a rim and spokes. If you’re not sure what spacing your frame needs\, please bring the bike so that we can measure it at the first class. \nA few things to know about our classes\n\nWear clothes that you don’t mind getting grease on.\nWear closed-toe shoes.\nYou must be 18 years of age or older to take our classes. \nDue to insurance limitations\, we can’t have e-bikes in the building.
